K2Bandet has been put into sleep.
The ribbon was once started as there was a certain need for a ‘Blue Ribbon’ made for tandem kayaks. To allow this within HBB would be far to heavy in administration. Both HBB and K2B are
idealistic organised. Running costs from contacts with the paddlers before and after the tour, jury meeting with its snacks and maintenance of homepages has no covering from sponsors or
starting fees.
To K2Bandet this will mean:
1. The organization will be dissolved
2. The homepage will still remain, but isn’t regularly updated
If there are any adjustments to the rules will this however be done so that page always remain current. K2Bandet is still running even if in rest waiting for conquerors to come.
We thank all for the interest that has been shown and whish to be able to reopen K2Bandet under new organisation if paddlers are announced.
